01 Project Overview
Taywell Ice Creams is a multi-award-winning producer based in Kent, known for making all-natural ice cream using local ingredients and no artificial nonsense. With decades of heritage and a growing list of retail and hospitality partners, Taywell needed a digital presence that could reflect their values and help expand their reach. We were brought in to design and develop a new WordPress site that would clearly communicate the brand’s ethos, product range, and commitment to quality.
02 The Challenge
The original site didn't reflect Taywell's craft, quality, or credibility. The brand had great products, a strong story, and real loyalty but no central place to bring that to life. The new site had to appeal to both trade and consumer audiences. It needed to clearly show what makes Taywell different, while supporting partner outreach, flavour discovery, and founder storytelling. The tone had to feel honest, warm, and confident without the fluff or food marketing clichés.
03 Our Solution
We built a clean, responsive WordPress site with a bright, editorial feel. Product pages are stripped back and ingredient-led, keeping the focus on what matters. Flavours are grouped by category, with space to expand into future seasonal or bespoke lines. A story-first approach lets the brand's values and origins shine, while custom trade enquiry features make it easy for suppliers to connect. Everything was designed to reflect what Taywell stands for: proper ingredients, done properly.
